What is Micro-deposit verification and how does it work?

If a user can’t connect a bank account through Plaid, they can use micro-deposit verification.

• This process generally takes 1–2 business days.
• The system sends small deposits (usually with a 6-digit code in the transaction description) from “Beam” to the user’s bank account.
• The user retrieves the 6-digit code from the transaction details in their bank account and enters it back into Beam to complete verification. The location to enter the 6 digit code can be found in the "Bank accounts" tab in your Settings
• Deposits will appear as transactions from Beam.
