What are ideal logo and cover image ratio and dimensions?
To ensure your cover image displays cleanly across Beam without unintended cropping, please follow the recommendations below.
Aspect Ratios
Cover page is 2.44:1 (a common size would be 2440x1000px)
Company logo is 1:1 (a common size would be 500x500px)
These ratios best match Beam’s current layout and prevents automatic cropping. If the uploaded image is not the same ratio, the image will be automatically scaled and cropped to fit the layout.
Wider than ratio (e.g. 3:1) -> the image scales to height, and the left and right sides are cropped.
Narrower than ratio (e.g. 9:16) -> the image scales to width, and the top and bottom sides are cropped.
Best Practices
-
Design with a 2.44:1 or 1:1 canvas whenever possible
-
Keep important text or visuals centered horizontally and vertically
-
Avoid placing critical content near the edges
