How do I link a bank account?

To link a bank account you'll need to go to settings, validate business information with Stripe, then connect your bank account via Plaid.

1. Go to Settings ⚙️
2. Click the Bank Accounts tab
3. Click Validate Business Information
   • This form is sent directly to Stripe, Beam’s payment processor.
   • Stripe requires this information to verify that you are the legal owner (or authorized representative) of the business.
   • This is part of required identity verification (KYC – Know Your Customer) for payment processing.
4. Once submitted, verification typically takes 30–60 seconds.
5. After your business is verified, click Link Bank Account. You'll then enter your code for verification.
   • Beam uses Plaid to securely connect most banks.
   • Some banks may require micro-deposit verification instead of instant linking.

Your bank account must be successfully linked in order to:

• Receive payments from customers
• Pay bills via ACH
• Use Beam’s payment features
• Transfer funds in and out of the        Beam Balance
