[Design & Customization](https://faq.trybeam.com/estimates-proposals?hsLang=en#design-customization) # How do I format my estimate? ## Customize how your estimate appears to clients, including branding, pricing visibility, and additional details. There are a number of ways to customize your estimate beyond the structure, verbiage, and pricing of the **Groups** and **Line items**.  1\. Add your **logo** and **business details** in the business settings so they appear on all estimates. To do so, click the gear icon in the top right of the navigation bar. From the left menu, select `Business`. Make sure to click the orange `Save` button near the top right once you're done. Within the estimate, select the **Preview tab** to control what’s visible to customers (markup, quantities, unit costs, group totals, and more). At the bottom of the **Estimate tab**, you can also find additional options to add a payment schedule, additional information, a cover page, collect an e-signature, and an expiration date. The cover page is recommended to tell your company’s story or set expectations. Here, you can select the image you'd like to use and drag and drop it into the **Upload your own photo** area. You can also select the **Use your own cover page** option if you'd like to use your own template.
